Shaped to hug the oval Sleepi Mini mattress, which a rectangular protector cannot do. On a curved mattress an ill-fitting protector rucks up underneath the sheet and defeats the purpose.
It shields the mattress from spills and accidents while keeping the sleep surface clean and comfortable, and it is waterproof yet still breathable rather than a sheet of plastic between child and mattress.
It washes easily between uses, which it will need to, because a protector that is difficult to launder ends up not being used. Colour is white.
